This radio station (102.5 THE STAR, I think) in Des Moines used to play Blind Melon at least three times a day. I don't know why, because it was the very beginning of the new millennium and they were supposed to be playing a lot of P!nk and Simple Plan, or whatever.
Anyway, I was having a fun, giggly teenage-girl conversation with my friend Fall Out Brooke, and all of a sudden, she's like,
"HAVE YOU EVER SEEN LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE?"
"No, not yet."
And her face just drops and she says, "IT IS AMAZING."
It was really weird and sad. I hope it's less grating/"LIFE CHANGING" than Garden State, though. I mean, Natalie Portman isn't in it, so it can't be that bad. The end.
